Of topics in progress can be mentioned:
- SL-deck elements, having larger flexibility, fixed end connections and longer spans, better fire resistance, and better acoustical properties than the concrete decks known until now.
- Pearl-chain arch bridges, crossing a highway overnight. After more full-scale tests, the first is built across Vorgod River.
- Carbon fiber reinforcement for reinforcement of pearl-chains and existing building structures.
- Sandwich arches with 10 times larger load-bearing capacity for skew load than other arch bridges.
- Beam-less buildings and deck elements with cast-in services,
- Cupolas of plane deck elements and vaults in buildings.
- Textile moulds with less mould-pressure and more possibilities.
- Floating concrete structures with new casting techniques for that.
